Restoration Cambodia envisions
a traditional Cambodian village as a healing and organizing framework
for rebuilding villages and rural Cambodian society. The villages
in Cambodia and in other parts of the developing world have seen
rescue efforts before. However, what makes Cambodian Restoration
Projects different is that it brings these solutions together
at the grassroots level, so with your help Cambodian Restoration
Projects ensures success becomes rooted in every family in every
community.
Each project, or restoration task as we call them, has its
own independent and specific goal starting with food self-sufficiency.
The project addresses a specific area of need in each community—such
as medicine, food production or water and ultimately clinics
and schools. Therefore, each restoration task can be financed
separately.
Each participating Cambodian village will be able to follow
this approach to restore itself to health and vitality. Furthermore,
each successful village becomes a valuable source of ideas and
energy for neighboring villages.
